Unfortunately, regional restrictions are not the fault of the Sony store (or Fictionwise, or BoB for that matter). It's the publishers who restrict by region, unfortunately.
Sony has partnerships with Waterstones in the UK. There are threads here discussing the contractual problems of ebook rights - I'd suggest you look at those. Some other members have done a good job of explaining it, better than I could. |
