Adding books to the library
Hi,
I have been adding books to the library using the following reg exp to extract metadata from the file name.

(?P<author>[^_]+)-(?P<series>[^_]+)-(?P<series_index>[^_]+)-(?P<title>[^_]+)-(?P<published>[^_]+)-(?P<tags>[^_]+)

All works fine except the <tags>. Is it possible to get this to work?

Did you ever figure this out?
I am also trying to auto populate tags from filenames, but it's not working.

The fact that there is no Test field for Tags suggests to me it's not doable.

Tags is a comma separated, multiple value field.

Maybe you put Thriller in another field that you don't use (Publisher, Series...) and then copy it to the Tag field later.

You could use the GetFileName plugin then parse out the tags later using search & replace or action chains.
