Kobo Plus pop-ups
I've been noticing there's been a lot more instances of Kobo Plus full screen pop-ups when returning to the homescreen, even with the WiFi switched off.

Does anyone else have this and has anyone figured out a way to disable it?

Two possibilities occur to me:
  1. I wonder if there's a patch that'll have the desired effect? I see that there's one that looks as if it might

    I've not used it myself, so I don't know whether or not it'll help, but maybe it's worth a try?
  2. Use sideloaded mode. Possibly a bit extreme for you, but it's how I use mine.
There might well be a better solution, of course.

I have not applied the patch mentioned above and I have never seen that pop-up. But then I have not turned on WiFi on my Libra 2 is a rather long time. If I do turn on WiFi, it would be to update KoReader. I don't think I've ever connected my Libra 2 to Kobo via WiFi.

When I setup my Libra 2, I used the database from my Aura H2O.

I do have the patch enabled and it's been a non-issue until last month when the pop-up, well, pops up every other day. I do the occasional sync as I use Pocket, so perhaps a config is being pushed out during the sync?
