Font size randomly changes on Calibre

Since the last update, if I leave Calibre open and come back a few hours later, the font is smaller (I have it at 11 but it looks like it's 9). I restart Calibre and it goes back to the regular size, but the top of the window is now off my screen and I need to fiddle around to move it back and then readjust the window size to how I prefer it.

What OS and version are you running?

It’s Windows 11 and Calibre 7.24

I highly doubt there is anything in the last update that could possibly cause this but try downgrading to the previous version and see if it is still there.

I'll try that and wait a few days to be sure before reporting back

Oh, and I had a problem with the font of the interface. That is, I adjusted it to the font I liked, but the next day, when I opened it again, the interface automatically changed to a different font.
And when I closed it and opened it again, my favorite font was back.

It hasn't happened after going back to previous version

And does it go back to happening if you update again?

What happens if you set an this environment variable so calibre bypasses the video card driver? Use the latest version of calibre.

It hasn't happened again yet. If ever it does, I'll try to see if I did or used anything specific to trigger it, but I never noticed anything before.

It just happened again. It's very odd. It must be something on my computer, but I had no other program open or different from previous days. One of those strange, inexplicable things I guess

What do you have running when the computer starts?

When it happens, it's when I leave Calibre open (on my laptop) and I leave it for a while and come back to it. This time when it happened nothing was 'open' other than background things that always are running, such as Thunderbird, CCleaner, Acronis. It doesn't happen consistently enough for me to try keeping them closed. It had happened 3 times in the same day, before I asked original question, and now it's been about a week since upgrading back to current release

Thunderbird is not causing any problem as I run that. I do suggest closing CCleaner and Acronis. I just use the AV software that comes with Windows and I have no issues with calibre. It seems third party AV sometimes doesn't like calibre. This is what I would try.

I don't want to stop using them, as they both have aspects I prefer using. I don't use them as AV. I will try not having then in the background for a couple of weeks to see
