Audiobooks on PocketBooks (verse pro, era, etc)

I have a topic related to listening to audiobooks on Verse Pro or Era. I bought one specifically so that, in addition to reading, I could also listen to audiobooks. A player is built in as standard, which has one major flaw.

It does not save the playback speed adjustment settings. Usually, the speakers read too slowly and I almost always increase the speed. Unfortunately, it is not saved and after turning Pocketbook off and on later, the value is always set to 1x. It is very irritating.

Is this a problem or can it be reported for correction in future versions of the firmware?
Or do you know of any other software for playing audiobooks that can be uploaded and used?

You're correct, the speed/pitch settings are not persistent, only for each session.

There isn't another audiobook app for the linux Pocketbook operating systems.

A workaround would be to adjust the speed of the audiobook files to your liking before transferring to the device.
You could use a simple web tool like this:

Thanks for the tip. However, this site converts one file at a time and audiobooks contain many files. So this solution is out of the question.
But following this path, I found a better solution, I will share the link for others who know a bit more about linux/windows.
https://gpodder.github.io/docs/time-stretching.html

However, I am waiting for the inclusion of saving speed/pitch settings in the next version of the pocketbook firmware.
