WordDumb and Ruby definitions length
I'm trying to have as many ruby definitions as possible in my epubs, since I find footnotes distracting.
I get that if the definition is too long it doesn't get on the top of the word but as a footnote, but sometimes even brief definitions only get a footnote. Example, Fang: sharp tooth, or maid: female servant. In the Edit books tool the Ruby code isn't there if the word is too short and the definition a bit too long so I guess it's a choice either of Ruby or the developer. Is there a way to change something in Ruby or in the plugin settings so it writes the definitions over the word even if the definition is a bit bigger than the word itself? I know I should ask in the plugin thread but the developer isn't as active rn and I hoped someone in here could help. |
