Amazon Has Deleted Your Registered Apps from Devices

Because of a video I recently posted (2nd video), I've found out that my registered Kindle apps are no longer showing up on Amazon under Devices. Why is Amazon doing this?

Could you explain more clearly the change you are seeing?

He means he has devices that had registered copies of the Kindle app on them that are no longer showing up in the Devices section of his Amazon account.

I have no idea why, but it has absolutely bupkis to do with the video he linked to. Not mention the click-baity title of this thread that makes it sound as if Amazon is reaching out and deleting apps from physical devices.

Devices is the name of the where you see what registered Kindle Devices and Apps. As you can see in the screen grab, it says All devices and apps. But there are no apps showing. I should have some apps showing. I don't know what this means with the apps no longer showing others then knowing which devices have apps registered or not.

That's odd. When I go to that web page on my account there is a separate section titled "Amazon apps installed on devices" showing all of the registered apps.

I know what you meant (did you miss my post where I described what you meant?). But your thread title could be easily construed as something else entirely.

I see the same thing as jhowell. The "Amazon Devices" section is exactly that: Registered Amazon Devices only.

The "Amazon Apps installed on devices" section (immediately below "Amazon Devices") is how you find what Amazon Apps are installed on which non-Amazon devices. You chopped the relevant section off in your screencap.

Yes, I am seeing the same as you. Nothing has changed.

Yea. Amazon apps has always been below the Amazon devices section.
I think it's always been like that? I can't remember seeing my registered apps on any other section of that page.

It was different a long, long time ago. Back when the Kindle App was the only Amazon app that COULD be registered on a non-Amazon device,
