Cybook and secure ereader

Is it likely that the Cybook will be able to read 'secure ereader' format at some stage? There are some books available by an author in only secure ereader format but I cannot use these on my reader.
If not, is it possible to do even some very basic convert to read in html, pdf or Word format? At least then I could convert them to mobipocket format if I wanted, using the mobipocket creator software.
I realise that being a 'secure' format a conversion process is probably not available but thought it was worth asking.

The Gen3 will never be able to handle any other DRM format. Mobipocket's agreement is to be the only DRM format available. What you can do however is find a copy of eReader2HTML.py version 0.03 and then you can remove the DRM and convert to HTML and covert to Mobipocket from there.

At least I know it's a non-starter and not to wait for the secure ereader format to be available. Thank you for your suggestion - I'll try to find it and try a convert.

Yes, if you're willing to remove DRM (with the attendant legal questions involved in some countries), the ereader2html python script referenced by Jon will create an HTML version that can be turned into a Mobipocket book (by simply reading into Mobipocket Desktop or by using Mobipocket Creator for more control).
