Hello,

Does anybody know how the Kindle's VoiceView works? I think that it's a Text To Speech (TTS) engine, but how does it run? Like, is it an actual binary or script that runs with text as an input? As I have seen the voice folder on my kindle's USB root folder (no jailbreak yet) and was wondering if it's a binary, would it be possible to change the binary to maybe jailbreak / root the kindle.

I wonder what the ISEF means... ? Still, knowing that no executables are stored on the USB mass storage partition helps!
