ebook-meta: What is the purpose of CATEGORY?

Using ebook-meta, I stumbled upon the option "--category=CATEGORY". I could not find any explanation what data this parameter is supposed to set. Does CATEGORY map to a Dublin Core element (if so, which one)? Also, trying to set a value for this using "ebook-meta" does not have any effect. I tested this with an epub file, using Calibre 7.9. "ebook-meta" completes without any error, but the epub metadata is not modifed. Thank you, Wolpi |

ebook-meta has options that dont only apply to epub. Different formats support different things. IIRC, --category was used for some legacy formats.
