Full Text Search and Parenthesis?
I know this is simple, and I've learned regex for the other searches, but I can't seem to figure out how to include special characters, specifically ( or ) in full-text search. I think it'll accept ASCII, but I don't exactly know how to read the table, let alone how to input it so that the search will accept it.
So, a general answer would be great, because I'm sure I'll need things like : and - at some point, but if you could also just tell me how to make it find (new) in the text, that'd be swell. |

full text search is word based, so it cant search for special characters as they are not words. You might be able to do something like
NEAR("(" "new" ")" 3) |

For EPUB files, I believe you can use the Quality Check Plugin Search ePubs tool, as it can run regex based searches.
