News download retrieves headlines only

Bug description:
I have been downloading The Wall Street Journal successfully for more
that 6 months. As of yesterday, the download only fetches the
headlines from this source. Other news downloads (The New York Times)
continue to run without a problem. The Wall Street Journal is
password protected while the NYT is available without a paywall.

I am running windows 11 and the problem seems to have occurred with
its latest update. However, having rolled back the update, the
problem persists.

Running v 6.26 of Calibre.

Please let me know if you are aware of this and may have a solution

I don’t have a solution, but I just wanted to let you know you’re not the only one. I’m having the exact same issue.

That’s disapointing. If I’m reading the thread correctly, wsj is dead?

Unless someone spends the time to reverse engineer its JS based content obfuscation yes its dead
