marked without text
I noticed a little pin on the left side today, it says "marked without text" when I mouse over it. I searched the calibre site and forum and found no reference to this, nor on Google.
I'm sure it has something to do with the text search feature, which I love btw, but I don't know how to use this. And if it means I have books not searched yet, how do I force them to be catalogued. Sorry if it seems if I went the easy route and posted this, but I did try to find the answer and maybe my google-jitsu is not up to snuff these days. |

PushPins (AKA Mark) are placed for various Setting / Plugin reasons.
Some of those reasons 'show only marked books' (in search bar) include a reason. Right click in a column adjacent: Mark books: Give a menu of how you can work with marked books |

Well I had never looked closely into this feature, and now I found that it generates different colors for each text label assigned. Actually I never used the "Mark books with text label" command - every day, a new serendipity while using Calibre!
The "Mark all books" in the FTS window just sets the matched titles to marked:true, hence the Mark Books submenu item in the screenshot BR uploaded will display the label 'true'. And that's why that tooltip "Marked without text" appears for books marked when using FTS. |

Unfortunately, there isn't a simple workaround - removing the numbers also removes the sorting. |
