Kobo Clara HD not turning on

Hi everyone!

I have a Kobo Clara HD and ... well it doesn't work.

It is jammed on the screen "Connected and charging" with the logo of the Kbo connected to a computer.

I can't seems to turn it back on.

Tried the factorey reset : not turning on
Tried to disconnect/reconnect the battery : not turning on
Tried to flash another SD card : not turning on

When plugged-in, there is no light anywhere

When I connect it to a computer, I hear the sound of an USB device being connected (or disconnected) but nothing appears in the device manager and the Kobo is not turning on either.

Anythig I can try before putting it in the garbage?

It is not even 3 year's old

Can it be a dead battery? Can I use the Kobo without a battery attached to it?

Try plugging it in overnight to see if it will still hold a charge at all. If you can turn it on in the morning, but it immediately turns off again, that would indicate that all you need is a new battery.

Already tried that. No go.

The charging light don't come on either.

Though, if I connect the Kobo ton a computer, I can hear the USB plugged-in sound on the computer, even though I don't see any device in Windows and the Kobo don't turn on either.
