using manifest data within epub
Hi,
is it possible to use data from the manifest
(e.g. <dc:identifier>urn:isbn:9783757818333</dc:identifier>)
as a kind of variable within the content of the ebook?
Example:
"The ISBN of this eBook is [manifest.identifier.urn.isbn]." showing
"The ISBN of this eBook is 9783757818333."
Not important but nice.

Why when the ISBN is in the copyright page? And the answer is no you cannot.

Any kind of epub variable substitution is going to need to be done with javascript. And even then, I don't know of any easy way to pull stuff from the opf. Regardless ... Sigil can't really help you with any of it. This would all need to be coded manually.
