Kindle 5 K5 Problems

So recently got a Kindle 5, Serial B011, Firmware 5.0.1, Model No D01200.

Figured id upgrade it by updating the device with https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=186645

Which everything went fine was prompted at the bottom that the update was successful. So then I tried to run YUAL and got an error “incompatible with this kindle”.

So then tried to install YUAL with MRPI but it requires hotfix firmware to be installed. So now I’m trying to update the device again using https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=320570 but am getting zero results when typing ;merchant in search.

I’ve done the first K5 one successfully but the K5 Factory needs to be done before the hotfix and have not looked into the K5 KindleBreak.

I’m it sure what to do next to get KUAL installed as document to run on hotfix firmware. Can someone please point me in the right direction with this Kindle device?

I’m not sure if I completed the second K5 Factory correctly but I restarted my Kindle and it said it was jailbreaking and now have ‘you are jail broken’ on the main screen. However when I try to hotfix https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...postcount=1597 it automatically deletes the update bin file and the update button is grayed out.

Am I ready to install YUAL with the K5 Jailbreak or is there more Jailbreaking before installing YUAL

I’m not sure what exactly is a Factory image is and typing things like ;log mrpi to install YUAL document seems to do nothing even though I have the bin in the correct folder. Going directly to the hot fix adding the bin to the outside most folder and going to updates doesn’t allow to click updates.

Any help would be nice since I would like to get YUAL installed thanks
