Kindle D01100 black version help
I hope someone can help me here.
I have just bought this Kindle off ebay and the seller says he reset it to factory conditions before sending it. I can't register it and after a long chat with Amazon they tell me it is registered to someone else. Is it the case that factory reset does not deregister the device on this model of Kindle and you have to go to your Amazon account to do this? |

Perhaps it must simply be updated before you can register. Which firmware version is it on?

Thank you very much for your help. Amazon insisted it was registered to someone else but I have now registered it using update 4.1.4
