Search based on the comparison of two columns

Hello to all

I am looking for a way to display a list of books for which the value of two columns are equal. To be more specific, I have created two custom columns (last name & first name), and I am looking to display the books for which the last name is similar to the first name.

Thanks in advance for your help

Click on the little gear one the search barre. In the dialog, select the tab "Template search".

For you it will be something like this:
Code:
program: strcmp($#first_name, $#last_name, 0, 1, 0)
One the first field 1.

Depending on what you want exactly, I recommend you to watch the The calibre template language

There is a plugin for that type of thing: 'Multi-Column Search'. Both intra-book and inter-book.
