Is there any way to record content of device in Calibre?

Hallo,
during the last 10+ years I had accumulated ebook-readers of different size.
(A6, A5 A4 resp. 6, 10, 13 inch).

Due to the limit of storage and screen-size/resolution, I have books or documents spread on different devices. Some of my job related Guidelines are quite long an A4

Is there any way or plugin to get calibre memorized on which device a Book is already copied?

Calibre shows a mark if a "book" is in the memory of a device, when it is connected. I would like to record calibre the location and show similar columns for each device with a tick, if it is there.
It would help me to organize my devices and indicate, which one I should take with me.

Do you have any idea?

Personally, what I would do is create a taglike ("comma separated text, like tag") column.

You can either use Bulk Metadata Edit to add the entries manually, or set up Reading List with the column update settings. Either way, add your device name to the custom column and it's available via tag browser.

I use the Reading List plugin with a custom Y/N column to keep track of what's on my Libra 2.

I do something similar (though it's a composite 'psuedobool' column rather than a true boolean). I was mostly thinking that multiple bool columns might get a bit awkward depending on the number of devices.
