Tag Mapper Suggestion

Would very much like to see the ability to have pre-selection/tag suggestions in the box where you type in the desired tag you want to see replace the tags you have selected to in the tag mapper instead of having to type it out blind.

This would help make sure that the tag being typed in the box matches the tag in the library. I keep messsing up when I have to "remember" the exact tag when it is already in the library.

Personally, I use copy/paste to avoid typos.

As far as copy/paste, I have no idea how that would help. This would require me to already know which tag I am going to be mapping and to have it loaded up in my clipboard, then open the tag mapping program, select the many tags, then paste the desired tag (hoping that I haven't changed my mind about what I am working on), then paste the tag. Close out the tag mapping function, find the next tag, copy, and repeat.

So, no. If it works for you, great. I would prefer to have a dropdown or completion list to choose from.

I am hoping that is what Kovid is doing.

My thought would be to use Job Spy to give a dummy book all the available tags, and then copy the tags into an open Notepad file so they're all at hand.
