How do I see my Book library if a doc is open?

If I'm reading a document on my iPad mini, like this one for example, is there an easy way to get back to my library? Tapping anywhere on the screen takes me to the previous or next page or the table of contents.

If I close the app and re-open it, I can see the library briefly until the book I was previously reading opens to the page where I last had it open.

What app are you using to read on? I only use one, so don't know if I can help. I usually use Marvin.

I use the native iPad e-book reader.

Try tapping the middle of the page when reading a book. At top left should be <
Tap that and you should be in either “reading now”.
At the bottom of reading now is the library icon.

Thank you so much! I can't be any simpler. The Reading Now screen shows my books so I don't need to use the icon at the bottom of the screen.
