transfer kindle books to calibre
Hello,
Im new here and new to Calibre software. I cant figure out how to transfer some of my kindle books to Calibre. I have my Kindle Fire plugged into my macbook pro, and calibre software loaded up. When I click on calibre device option, its only showing 10 books from my kindle and there are at least 5 more showing on my kindle. I buy all my books from Amazon. Can someone please shed some light on this for me. Im very confused.

You need to download from your Kindle Content page at Amazon.
On device purchased books may be in protected storage and not available via USB.

If you don’t own an e-ink Kindle device (a Fire tablet is not one) your best option is to install an older version of Kindle for PC or Mac and use that to download Kindle books for import into calibre. See the thread Dealing with Kindle for PC/Mac 1.19 and KFX in calibre for details.

And you'll want to install the DeDRM plugin so you can remove any DRM.
