If you launch the Stand alone viewer from the start menu (without a book) indicated, it shows the recently read list.

I've seen the menu indicated by kovidgoyal but I don't see how to launch the Stand alone viewer. Can you explain me please?
Thanks

It is on Windows Start Menu (a choice under the Calibre entry).
You start it like any other program.
When it opens, it shows you a 'most recent' list: You can click on the entry to read. see image.
(Note: My toolbar has been moved from the top -> right)
If you want another title, the folder Icon is used (it is the only icon active at start)

Other ways to use Viewer.
Using your OS, right click on the book type file: Open With: The Calibre e-book viewer
And there is the way that is built-into Calibre (the Library view)

Well, I found it, even now I'm using LInux and no Windows anymore.
But I've noticed just now that there's no the option to underscore the text. Does with Linux this function is not present?
