Sony PSP Chargers still at Target on sale

I swang by there yesterday to check them out, and the clerk took me to the end cap where they were. $7.48 (or close) each, and they are the Sony branded ones.

Snagged two!

So if you haven't gone because you think they are sold out by now, check just in case!

I wouldn't buy one even if they were under $5. Why? The various PSP chargers and charging cables are much more convenient. Who needs to lug around the charging brick just because it says 'Sony' on it? Not me! (The charging cable, which can be found for well under $10, is *much* more convenient--it will charge easily from any computer, wall wort or car adapter with a usb port.)

I'm not sure I understand...this is a PSP charger. It was also cheaper than the non-Sony charger at Target. And it's not very big.

Also, I got them for trips where I can't have my computer. Well, the other is for my mom, and she'll need one right away for the new Reader I got her for christmas. She's going on a cruise and isn't bringing her laptop.

Ah, my bad. I thought they were Reader chargers (the brick ones). That's a decent price for a PSP charger. Although the cable is still handier IMO. I have a few small wallworts lying around (from Blackberies, etc.) which you can use with the cable to charge from an outlet, no laptop needed. I gave a cable to my sister with her new 505 because it's the best charging option.

I read on here that the blackberry chargers don't work (they drain the battery instead of charging it). You've done this?

I went by my nearest Target this morning and, sadly, there were none to be found. I was hoping to get one to go with my SIL's Reader that she will be opening tonight. Oh well, I guess Gamestop will be a destination just like when I got mine...

didn't found it in Target at Queens - bought one at E-Bay. They sell them for $14 shipped (no-name but with a 6 foot long cord, starting at the charger)

thanks for the info
