book stats history?

I am currently REALLY enjoying reading my de-drmd Wanderers, Kings and Merchants: The Story of India Through its Languages in KOReader, all characters displaying just fine. It's a popsci book that I would describe as 80% sci, 20% pop, or maybe 85/15, and as a result, my time per "page" has ballooned out. The 2-3 books immediately before this one I was running at 17-20 seconds per "page", this one is at 33 and trending upward as the linguistics gets denser.

I'm loving the sensation of having to slow down and concentrate carefully, but it got me wondering: Is there any way to see or store reading stats once a book has been finished? It could be fun to compare such stats across genres and subject matter

You mean to extract it from KOReader? They're all stored in settings/statistics.sqlite3

With some knowledge of SQL you can then do whatever you want with the stats… which is probably a somewhat dissatisfying answer, but I hope also one that can be empowering.

To see the raw data I like https://sqlitebrowser.org/

Fortuitously, I've been playing around with SQL a bit in the last few months, I can probably manage this.
