Lowering T5 Screen Brightness

Hi all. Does anybody know how to lower the screen brightness on a tungsten T5 below the normal minimum? On its lowest setting it is still too bright for me to read at night with all the lights off.

Thanks for any assistance,

Bruce

There is no way to do such a thing with a T3 (I have tried to find a way, believe me), so my guess is that there isn't either for a T5. Sorry.

Have you tried installing a screen protector? Some of them reduce the screen brightness more than others. It won't help your battery life because the brightness gets wasted, but it might help you with night time reading if you can find one that's not completely transparent. Usually the ones that reduce glare the most are likely to be reducing brightness the most. Hope you find a solution.
