2) KOreader supports .tff and .otf fonts. LINK: https://github.com/koreader/koreader/wiki/Fonts

3) Font Download: 天珩全字库 LINK: http://cheonhyeong.com/Simplified/download.html, Download "天珩字库-书宋(TH-Sy)", unzip the font to the KOreader path koreader/fonts/Tianheng font-Shu Song(TH-Sy)

4) Restart KOreader to select fonts, there are three options: TH-Sy-P0, TH-Sy-P16, TH-Sy-P2, choose one that can be displayed normally.

The issue is probably with your downloaded font as it seems to be missing some glyphs. Fix the issue by selecting "NotoSans CJK" as the fallback font (or any other font with good unicode coverage)
