Calibre server keeps defaulting to welcome wizard when restarted

I use a synology nas to house my calibre server. I installed calibre through portainer over a year ago. I updated the latest version of calibre through portainer for the first time yesterday. The problem now is every time calibre restarts i have to go through the set up wizard (over and over again) and /root directory. So any user interface adjustments resets calibe to welcome wizard each time and I cant install plug ins (as it requires a restart) it starts me from scratch. Any ideas on why that is happening now? I had no issues before. I have to select library each time it restarts.

It will be because the config directory is readonly or ephemeral. Use the CALIBRE_CONFIG_DIRECTORY env var to control where calibre puts its settings.
