Amazon book
Recently downloaded Calibre in order to convert a Ebook purchased on Amazon.
I only have a PC for reading the book, which I can click on view and read the book on my PC OK using Kindle Cloud reader. I have tried several methods to store the book as PDF, with no avail. Is there a procedure to allow this? T.W. |

Many books come with DRM (digital rights management) and can only be read by registered (to the purchaser) apps.
Apprentice Alf has some tools that help overcome this. MR rules prevent us from providing any more help than See Alf |

Please note that to get a copy of the book on your PC, you will need to use either Kindle for PC/Mac or have an eInk Kindle to allow the Download and Transfer via USB option. |

Provided you have the correct OS: Windows 10 for pc but I don't know the Mac equivalent, check on Amazon; you can download Kindle for PC/Mac and when you download books from Amazon by 'transfer via usb' tell it to set your book for Kindle for PC/Mac. Then you read the book from within this software, without any conversion.
