Deleting books

Hi
I can't delete books using Caliber. I tried several times, the program stays "working" for a looooong time, and I have to close the program. The books are still there.
What am I doing wrong?

I suspect you did not read the FAQ and have the books on a NAS/Cloud drive
(very not recommended)

But, if you were viewing them with a 3rd party viewer (Like Adobe reader), that must be exited first as it locks the file.

No, the books are in the Caliber library, d: / programs / caliber / library/
And are accessible through Windows as any other file.
(win 10, 64bit)

Is D: a physical drive IN YOUR PC?

Are you still the owner (FULL file and folder rights). Something is blocking Calibre (usual culprits: Overly aggressive Security suites.

Have you had Windows check the drive for errors.

D:\Programs\calibre\Library .. Windows may be confused as normal programs can NOT store things in the C:\Program Files\calibre2 folder

Might be a security / permissions issue

'Regular users' (i.e. non Admin) only have read and execute privileges in c:\Programs

I have mine in c:\users\Daddy\Calibre
