Kindle DX - how to fix screen

i have an old Kindle DX home with a broken screen. is it possible to fix it? one of the challanges is that i live in europe ... any help apriciated, i would like to get it working as it is quite unique device.

A screen is likely more expensive than most cheaper eink readers and much inferior.

The CPU is slow for PDFs. The RAM is too little on the DX and DXG to have better firmware to support azw3/KF8 instead of the old mobi KF7.

It's really not worth repairing. I have the DXG which is basically the same hardware with a more reflective (less grey) screen. I only use it occasionally now for testing.

It's also very heavy. Your model will also be needing a new battery.
