Does kobo forma support cropping a pdf?

Hi,
I recently watched a comparison between likebook mars and kobo forma.
The first one could crop and keep the margins applied, to a pdf book, on the previous page.
Kobo couldn't do it. The review is from 2 years, so, Kobo forma can crop and keep the changes on the pdf when I turn a page?
I'm thinking in buying one in order to read some academic documents.
Thanks for your time and interest.
Have a nice day.

If you install KOReader, you can do a lot more with PDF on a Kobo. Watch the following video.

I have KoReader and the supplied PDF reader on the LikeBook Mars. I only use the koreader for ebooks, the supplied PDF reader is fine and easier to use.
The advantage of the Mars is that it has SD card slot (PDF scans eat storage), and can have some Android Apps. It also can take notes in any suitable Android app with a physical BT keyboard.

I've had 3 Kobos: New Aura H2O original, Kobo Touch 905c and the Libra. I've not installed anything on them and for epubs the built in reader is fine.

I find I often have to use the 10" Lenovo tablet for PDFs. The Mars and Forma screens are too small at 8" and 7.8" for scanned magazines (multi column) and Letter size or A4 size technical documents. The 7.8" screen is fine for most scans of really old technical books up to about 8.5" diagonal, not length.

So for ordinary epubs the Libra is best and for PDFs sometimes even the 10" is too small. Hence the Sony and other PDF orientated readers using eink are 10"+ to nearly 14" diagonal.

The Mars also has more powerful CPU than Forma and is about €40 cheaper. So I'd say the choice is a Mars or more likely a 10" or larger eink if it's mostly technical PDFs. I have 1000s, as well as manuals and datasheets and most need the 10" Lenovo Tablet. You can buy a Libra and a 10" tablet for the non-UK price of a Forma!

Which 10 inch ereader do you recommend to buy?
I also think that for technical pdf, 8" isn't big enough.

I can't do it.
Did anyone succed doing that?

Update
I succeded using Plato, but KOReader isn't installed.
Plato pdf reader, It works way better than the native pdf reader on my kobo aura one.
How can I launch KOReader if I installed Plato?
Thanks for your comments, folks.
