Viewer unresponsive when in High Contrast

Hello forum,

I have Calibre 5.12 installed in both my Windows 10 PC and laptop. I like using the High Contrast theme from Windows (Settings, Easy of Use) and it works fine in both devices. The problem is with the Calibre Viewer under this setting. The viewer will pop up immediately, then stay blank for a long time and finally respond but excruciatingly slowly. When not in High Contrast, the viewer works perfectly fine.

Now, the thing is that it happens only with my PC and not with my laptop. Both are HP, x64, Windows Home. And both are configurated equally.

Also in both cases, I have the Calibre interface style: System. I've tried to change it to: Calibre, but the problem persist, only in my PC, as long as Windows in in High Contrast.

Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

Thank you fort your brief but informative post. The card of the affected computer is an Intel 4600. I made sure to have the latest driver, but still no chance. Is anything else I can try to do or am I stuck as long as I have this card?
