Saving Meta Data Changes / problem with Marvin
Hello
I have a couple of ebooks on my Mac, and they shown as "unknown author" when I load them into Calibre. Not a problem - I update the author meta data and then click ok. But when I read them in Marvin, it reverts to not knowing the author, can anyone tell me why Marvin cannot read the meta data I changes in Calibre, and am I saving the meta data changes properly in Calibre? Thanks so much! |

When you edit metadata, the changes are not actually written to the book file unless you run "Polish" or "Embed metadata". "Send to device" should also do this, but if you are just pointing Marvin to the book in the library, it will see the book file without the changed metadata. Try running "Polish" with "Update metadata in the book files" checked, after you make any changes.
