Is there any option to bulk-save cover images?
I'd like to save a bunch of book covers to a folder. The only way I see to do this is to open the details panel and use "save cover to disk" on them all. Is there any hidden feature or plugin that can do this in bulk?

Hmm, I think XnView might have some form of recursive directory view. I'll see what I can do with that.
EDIT: Well, it worked. But I ended up with a bunch of images named "Copy (10) of cover.jpg." Last edited by ownedbycats; 12-10-2020 at 06:55 PM. |

You could probably use a Windows Library and a half-decent renamer that can get values from parent directories (..\library\author\book). You may need to enable Windows Libraries - no one much understood them, so I think they're normally disabled.

I'm fiddling around with Bulk Rename Utility, which has recursive directory scanning and copy-to-folder. I think I might be able to do it with that.

How Big?
Use the Catalog tool, then grab the thumbnails from the EPUB it made. Note: the second tab at the bottom has Thumbnail Width setting |

Just save to disk and then delete all non-jpeg files using your file explorer/terminal.
