=.TagName Not working in Search
Hi all,

not sure if this might be a system/coding limitation but when I hit a tag in book details which starts with a "." it get's 0 results.

tags:"=.1LogosHeadings" - = results

tags:".1LogosHeadings" - all tags starting with "." and similar to the rest of the string.

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature yet. I use tags with "." for sorting purposes, these are the ones I'm using with books I'm editing and building or working on.

Any way to have this fixed. Anythign I can "turn on" in settings to make it work. Tnx

The . is special as it is used for hierarchical tags. You can search instead for

=..tag

which is also the search expressoin generated if you click on the tag in the tag browser.

i.e. use two leading dots instead of one. See the para on hierarchical items here: https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/gui...arch-interface
