Post a Table with BBCode?

I know this site primarily uses bbcode for posting, but when I tried to post a table with bbcode, it failed. Below is an example of the code I used:

[th]Name[/th]
[th]Age[/th]
[/tr]

[td]John[/td]

[/tr]
[tr]

[/tr]

Either the version of the forum is too old for tables or tables are turned off.
