Organizing books on Kindle?

I don't have a particularly large collection, but I do like the idea of keeping things in folders organized by series or topic. I noticed an option labeled "create new collection" on my kindle paperwhite, but I don't know if it will play nice with books put on my kindle via calibre.

Any tips or ideas on keeping things organized would be appreciated. I would really like to do subfolders but just being able to keep everything in a series together is enough for me.

I don't use Kindle myself, but perhaps this would be of interest: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=244202 (though read the red text).

That won't help unless the Kindle is jailbroken. Kindle's are terrible for organizing eBooks. Collections have to be done by hand after side loading. Calibre will not be helpful for this.

Using calibre and meta data plugboards you can get a kindle to display files in series order the name etc. If was using my pc would cut and paste it for you.
