Calibre 5.x Date of books always January
Hello, i found a little glitch in calibre 5: When i get metadata of any book, the year of publication gets set right, but the month is always january, even when the metadata says April, the field is set to january. So i have to always change that to the right month!

Thats all for the moment. And as always its the best ebook program i ever have seen!!!!

Looks like a limitation of the metadata source you are using. Some websites may informe just the year of publication. In that case, the Plugin has to fill the blanks (day and month), because calibre asks for a full date.

This happens to me with Skoob (a Brazilian website).

It could be the Fantastic Fiction metadata source plugin. Currently, that only gets the year or publication.

Ah you are talking about metadata download not reading metadata from files. In which case yes it will depend on what metadata source plugin your results are coming from. Look at the log in the download metadata window.
