Touch Names of the files/books

Hi
Some books I sent to the device, although the respective file has the correct name, what appears on the device is something different, for example, "BooDKMWQ7A EBOK". How to fix?

That depends on the book format and how you got it there.

For formats that do not contain metadata, such as TXT and CBR, the file name is used. Which means you need to name the file as what you want to see.

For formats that contain metadata, it is read from inside the book. That means you need to set the metadata in the book before sending it to the device. There are tools to do this.

The easiest way to do both of the above, is using calibre. You can set the metadata in the calibre library, and calibre will update the books metadata when sending the book to the device. It will also set the file name according to a template you can specify.

Thanks for your reply. The files / books in question are all "epub" and all without any problem in reading.
I already tried to make the correction through the "Caliber" (sd card menu because the books are on the device card) and the "edit" menu for the files in question is not available.

You have to delete the books from Your device, correct the metadata (title, author ecc) in calibre and send again to the device.

Thanks. I tried a few of the ePub from there and they seem to be OK for the title/filename.

Books moved from Kobo to Calibre, metadata edited, back to Kobo and now everything OK.
