Question [Note Pro] FW Update 2.3.1 - any gotchas?

Hi,

I haven't used my Note for a while and today went into the settings and just out of curiosity hit the Check Update button, expecting it not to work as it has always been with cloud updates. BUT this time it actually did work!

So I want to try it but knowing that sometimes nasty surprises get shipped with Onyx updates I would first like to ask if anyone is on 2.3.1 already and can you provide some feedback, please? I'm currently on 2.1.2.

I'm particularly interested in Neo exporting to PDF facility which did not work the last time I tried.

By the way, here is the list of things that come with 2.3.1:

After installing the update 2.3.1 I seem to have a slightly worse response to taps. The Note Pro is 2 months old, so I don't expect it to be a hardware failure. I am thinking about reverting back to 2.3. (I have all the update files, so it should be a matter of copying the wanted version back to the reader.)

Does anyone else have any experience with a less responsive touch screen on the Note Pro?

Less responsive taps? That's enough to make me not update. I'm on a Nova Pro. I am not aware of any upgrades in 2.3.1 that are of value to me. I'm always cautious about upgrading.

Riiiight... Maybe I'll go slowly and bump my firmware to the next available version manually instead then, which I got a link to using Wayback Machine. I cannot see links to older versions on Onyx downloads page.

I gather that downgrading firmware version works ok?

I’ve saved 2.1.2, 2.3 and 2.3.1 for the Note Pro. Pm me if you can’t find one of those.
