Converting PDF with Identity-H encoding
Most PDF's of Indian languages are using Identity-H a.k.a CID encoding for handling languages with high number of glyphs. While trying to convert these PDF's in calibre, the existing encoding methods (in Look and feel --> Text --> Input encoding) does not list the Identity-H option and the documents are converted to incomprehensible texts. Is there a way to convert the Identity-H encoded characters as is to EPUB or AZW3 formats?

no, there isnt. identity-h is not an encoding. the pdf has to have the text in unicode encoding with a unicode font to be convertible. https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/con...-pdf-documents
