Multiple Search/Replace as a batch process
I have a number of regex search/replace functions saved.
Is there any way I can set these up as a batch process instead of selecting and running (applying) each individually? ![]() |

If you multiple select items in the Saved Search dialog, they will run in the order they appear.
For instance, I have saved 4 routines that successively destroy data tables and reconstruct a div/span structure in place. I select them in the dialog and let them rip with no trouble. |

Hi all.
This is my question as well. I have about 10 search and replace saved searches. I, too, would like to know if I can run ALL of them in one hit, rather than having to select each one from the drop-down menu. Is this possible? I tried the answer given by Brett but couldn't get it to work. I am on a Mac and I can't select multiple saved searches by holding down the command, option or control buttons. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance. |

Hi all again.
Is this feature not available? Can we please have a definitive answer from one of the developers? |

What Brett said, simply select all the searches you want to run together and they will be run in sequence. And note this is talking about the calibre editor. If you mean something else, then specify what.

I think I know why I can't use Brett's method. I am trying to batch run saved searches when in the "Editing meta information for X books" screen.
In the screenshot, I have a few search and replace queries that have been saved. My question is, can I run these ALL at once, in the order I have named them? Thank you. |

No, metadata search and replace can do only one search and replace at a time
