fast booting device?

I'm currently reading with a Onyx Kepler and I'm annoyed that it takes so long to boot.

Does any of the new devices (Nova Pro, POKE 2, ...) boot considerably boot faster?

No - I own Kepler Pro, Poke Pro, Poke2, Nova2. I think, Poke2 and Nova2 are a little bit faster.

The boot speed seems a bit faster Poke > Nova Pro > Nova 2. But I rarely reboot my Poke/Nova 2, and waking from sleep is very quick.

My son's Nova Pro has an annoying bug, that it does require rebooting fairly often to connect to wifi. Also, the reboot button doesn't work so you have to shut down then restart.

Neither my Poke or Nova 2 have these restart issues.

I set nova pro shutdown to 12 hours or something. It rarely shuts down. When I do, boot up is not particularly slow compared to other e-readers I own. Maybe a bit. Maybe the same.

don't shut it down, it consumes maybe a 2% of battery every day by having it on standby, there is no reason to shut it down even if you use it every couple days
