plugin that can generate NCX/Guide for epub-2 e-readers?
Is there a calibre plugin that can generate that toc.ncx file? I'm currently having to open the book in Sigil and generate it with its Epub3 tools menu

Open with the ebook editor Tools--Table of Contents--edit Table of contents.
Then generate a TOC this is what I do for my nook.

You can use the Calibre Editor to generate the NCX ToC. It is under Tools > Table of Contents > Edit Table of Contents.

In many cases, You don't even need to open the book in the editor.
Calibre has a Edit TOC plugin that can be added to your toolbar. Preferences: Toolbars:
(very similar to the one inside the Editor)
These do offer alternate ways over the more basic, from Headers that Sigil uses (which I still use frequently )

Ok, thanks. I'll give that a try. I'm trying to avoid having to open the book (again) in Sigil just to generate the toc.ncx because I forgot that step.
