Manage book that contains a collection of novels

How do you manage in Calibre a book that contains a collection of novels? Suppose that you have a book (for example "Dickens’s novels") that contains 3 novels ("David Copperfield", "Oliver Twist" and "Bleak House"), each of which is a book in its own right. If you add the book "Dickens's novels" to Calibre library, how do you reference the 3 novels inside it? Do you use the comments field for reference.
Or, even better, if you have a book that contains a collection of books of different authors.

Some folk break them apart (using EPUB SPLIT plugin)
Or
You could list the titles (+ Authors) in the comments
Or
(a comments like field. This is safer, as it won't get overwritten if someone does a metadata download. )
Or
I use an Authors- like field (was originally for a Pseudonym decode, but then I started putting the Authors included in anthologies there and just putting the Editors in the real {authors} (I was using a filename only reader, so shortness was needed)
And I use a Tag field for the title list

The workarounds that you proposed are interesting but I would like something that is more aesthetically beautiful.
