Unhappy [MacOS] Copy & Paste shortcuts ??

Copy / paste metadata shortcut would be real handy?

Nevermind, while that shortcut would be nice I can achieve same result by merge metadata command (shift-option-M).

As these shortcuts are though error prone it would be nice to have undo (CMD-Z). Most software has this.

You need to set the kbd shorts - probably Cmd+C and Cmd+V

And don't forget the tweak

You use it on the book list; select the book who's metadata you want to copy, then press Cmd+C, select the book into which you want to paste the copied metadata, then press Cmd+V.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention before - I think you can undo metadata edits via the Audit Log plugin, see ==>> Index of plugins

No, there is no shortcut attached to those commands...

I though got them attached via system preferences shortcuts after I managed to add Calibre to the list of applications.
