Hello,
is there a recipe to change serveral names from
"lastname, firstname" to "firstname lastname" at once?
I went to "Optimierungen" (german version) and tried:
invert: 'ln, fn' -> 'fn ln'
but got a syntax error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\preferences\tweaks.py", line 535, in apply_tweak
File "<string>", line 4
author_sort_copy_method = invert: 'ln, fn' -> 'fn ln'
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
What to do?

The way to set it is:

Yes thank you, it works but unfortunately
"ln, fn" turns into "fn, ln" instead off "fn ln"
how to get rid of the comma?

But all this seems to be the wrong method because it only adjusts the sorting..

Now I found an other thread:

I imported a lot of books recently, and the Author field now contains a lot of entries that are LN, FN.

this is exactly my problem. I want it to be "FN LN". The sorting is ok.
And the author (theducks) recommended the quality check plugin. But I coudld not find it.
Ist there an other way?

For the Quality check plugin:
Preferences -> Plugins -> Get new plugins /
now "Filter list" for not installed / and search for "Quality check"

Install!
