Too many Requests

You must have done a large batch of Get Metadata's (and maybe tampered with the time delay between requests settings?).

Small batches with delays between those.

And if you did adjust the delay. please put it back. Hammering these sources can get ALL calibre users banned (has happened with places with small servers being brought to their knees by too many requests, to fast)

Nope, haven’t used Calibre in months. Only just updated to 4.0 and i only have 1 book in my library, which I just added. I don’t keep a library, I use calibre to convert books as and when I need to

That's gogle throttling you IP address for too many requests, give it a few hours and it should work again.
