Can side loaded content be moved to SD Card?

All the books I purchase gets downloaded to SD Card but when I sideload books
it goes to internal memory. Is there a way to move all those books to SD Card? I see no options for doing this. Secondly, I checked and I still show I have plenty of internal storage free so I should be able to sideload more ebooks but get an error when trying to sideload with Calibre that main memory is full? ?? Any ideas why i am getting this error?
